In 2025, Bent Plastics began an exciting new chapter under the ownership of James Novak — an award-winning industrial designer with a PhD in advanced manufacturing, multiple patents, and a proven track record in R&D. James continues the craftsmanship and renowned service of previous owners Dave and Nic, combining decades of local experience with cutting-edge design expertise and the latest design and manufacturing tools. Bent Plastics offers unmatched capability in custom plastic product design, plastic prototyping, and specialised fabrication.

3D printing / additive manufacturing - yes we also offer 3D printing services, perfect for early stage prototyping and batch production (although it's not a focus for Bent Plastics at the moment).

Shipping locally and interstate - we have customers as far north as Gladstone and south down into New South Wales, and can assist with arranging shipping once fabrication is complete.

Site visits - we can visit your building site to measure planter boxes, tank locations, sumps and other large installations to ensure we fabricate exactly what you need to fit your project.

School plastic supplies - we work with many local schools to provide pre-cut sheets of coloured acrylic for small desktop laser cutting machines and design and technology projects.
